Kenwood DMX906S Source Features
The DMX906S includes an AM/FM receiver with RDS/PTY display and an HD Radio tuner built in. We can add an SXV300 tuner to deliver SiriusXM satellite radio during the installation. Direct support for Spotify and Pandora are also included. You can store MP3, WMA, AAC and OGG files in resolutions up to 48kHz and WAV and FLAC files up to 196kHz on a USB stick for playback. The system also supports MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, H.264, AVI, WMV and MKV video files. The deck includes a pair of USB inputs that are rated to provide up to 1.5 amps of current each so that you can connect a phone and a memory stick simultaneously. An auxiliary input is also provided.
Connectivity Features
The Kenwood DMX906S offers compatibility with the iDatalink Maestro RR and RR2 interfaces to provide access to vehicle information, climate controls and parking assist information. Front, rear and subwoofer preamp outputs are rated at 5V each. As the radio is High-Res compatible, it will output analog audio at frequencies up to 80 kHz when playing a 192 kHz WAV or FLAC audio file.
The optional DRV-N520 dashcam integrates with the radio to make it easy to configure camera settings and view saved videos. Accident avoidance feature warnings are displayed on the radio screen.
